BlueGlove is a mobile concierge primary care practice for adults. We bring personalized primary care directly to your home or worksite throughout our Cherokee County service area, with telehealth available anywhere in Georgia.

We keep our panels limited so every visit gets the time it deserves, with accessible, continuous, high-quality care.

Dr. David Liu, a board-certified internist who continues to practice hospital medicine, co-founded BlueGlove Primary Care and serves as our Medical Director and supervising physician, overseeing all clinical care.

We serve Canton, Woodstock, Holly Springs, Ball Ground, and nearby communities in Cherokee County.

Our story

Why BlueGlove started.

I became a biomedical engineer because I wanted to keep people healthy. Later, as a data scientist in healthcare, I was working on things that might not reach a patient for years, if ever.

At every conference I went to, I'd hear some version of the same lament: you can track a pizza to your door, but not your own radiology report. Everyone agreed healthcare should be faster, clearer, and more accessible. Many were building the technology to get there. Far fewer were fixing the broken parts affecting patients now, where records don't follow you, questions turn into three phone calls, and getting care means rearranging your day.

I started BlueGlove to work on that part. We didn't need a breakthrough to modernize primary care, just a practice designed around the patient's time instead of the system's: care that comes to you, enough time to be thorough, and clear explanations about what's happening and what comes next. We keep up with new technology and diagnostics, and use them when they add real value.

And not from the top down. We're starting in one community, getting the fundamentals right, and building from what we learn.

Jiexi is ever curious and has a habit of asking “why does it have to work this way?”- then digging in until she understands it. Her early training in multidisciplinary research taught her to think deeply about complex systems, but over time she found herself increasingly drawn to practical problems that affect people's everyday lives: closing gaps, sweating the small details, and finding ways to make complicated things a little simpler. BlueGlove is where she gets to put that way of thinking into practice every day.

MORE ABOUT DR. LIU

An internal medicine physician who practices hospital medicine, Dr. Liu has seen firsthand how difficult healthcare can be to navigate, especially when patients move between the hospital and primary care. Patients and families have often told him that he was the first physician during their hospital stay who took the time to clearly answer all of their questions. These experiences reinforced his belief that good medicine requires both sound clinical judgment and a commitment to helping patients feel informed and supported. One of his frustrations with hospital medicine is rarely knowing what happens after a patient leaves: whether they saw the PCP or specialist, started the medication, or got the follow-up testing. He wants patients to have someone who keeps track and helps hold them accountable, because the care plan only works if it actually happens.
